Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Israel Landes dba Plateclear ("Plateclear", "we") for using plateclear.com, the members library, the install kits, the members Discord server and the Plateclear API ("the service").
1. The membership
A membership gives one person access to the members-only guides and install kits, the private Discord server and a personal API key, for as long as the membership is active. Free guides are open to everyone without a membership.
2. Price and automatic renewal
Plateclear Members costs $9.00 per month. It renews automatically every month and your card is charged $9.00 each month until you cancel. Cancel any time online from your account page (Account → Manage billing / cancel); your access continues until the end of the month you have paid for. No partial refunds.
Before you pay, you confirm: "I understand this membership renews automatically at $9.00/month until I cancel." The payment page (run by our payment processor, Stripe) repeats: "Renews automatically at $9.00/month until you cancel. Cancel any time online from your Plateclear account page."
3. Cancelling
You can cancel online at any time from your account page (Account → Manage billing / cancel). Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the month you have paid for. See Refunds & cancellation.
4. Your account
You sign in with your Discord account. Keep it secure; activity on your Plateclear account is your responsibility. A membership is for one person: don't share your access or your API keys.
5. Your own accounts and credentials
The guides show you how to set things up on your own computer and your own accounts with other services (for example an AI provider, Discord, Telegram or an exchange). Those services have their own terms and charges, which are between you and them. We never ask for your passwords or API keys for those services, and we don't resell AI usage.
6. Acceptable use
Don't copy, resell or publish members-only content, scrape the site or the API, try to get around access controls or rate limits, or use the service to break the law or anyone's rights. API keys are for your own agents and tools.
7. Content and install kits
You may use the guides and kits for your own personal and business use. Kits are scripts you run on your own machine: read them first (each guide explains every step) and check the published checksum. They are provided as is. Guides are education only; see the Disclaimers.
8. Other companies' names
We name third-party products only to describe what a guide covers (for example "works with Claude Code"). Plateclear is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those companies.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms. If we end a membership without a breach on your side, we refund the unused part of the current month.
10. Liability
We work to keep the service accurate and available but can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
11. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell members at least 14 days before the change applies. Changes to the price or renewal terms never apply to a month you have already paid for.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute is decided by the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
